OverviewFungi are one of the major components of total biodiversity of the world. It plays an important role not only in areas related to human beings but also in various other fields. A vast and detail study of fungi is being neglected, even in the present age of fast development in various fields of science and technology. There are a total of approximaly 573 registered microbial culture collection centers in 68 countries of the world, even then only 07% of fungi have been discover and 93% are still waiting to be discover.
