He had started his career teaching English in a public secondary schools in Sana'a. In 2000, he started teaching Arabic language to non-native speakers from different countries who came to Sana'a to study Arabic. And soon he excelled in his job and was appointed in 2001 the manger of Center for Arabic Language and Eastern Studies, a branch of University of Science and Technology, Sana'a, Yemen. Then, in 2006, he formed a team of Arabic teachers and devoted themselves to teaching Arabic and developing teaching textbooks to this purpose. In 2007, the team started their private institution ""Yemen Institute for Arabic Language"" known as YIAL. The institute flourished quickly, and developed several Arabic programs including: Modern Standard Arabic, Yemeni Arabic program, Media Arabic Program, Advanced Arabic courses program, and GPA Arabic program.
