OverviewPlease note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Artzosuchus is an extinct genus of basal crocodylomorph. Specimens have been found from the Auuden Sair locality of the Djadochta Formation in Mongolia and date back to the Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous. Because of the fragmentary nature of the material associated with the genus, its classification beyond that of a basal crocodylomorph is indeterminant. The Crocodylomorpha are an important group of archosaurs that include the crocodilians and their extinct relatives.
