Our Antique Botanicals Studio Book Series contain 20 actual reprints of Paxton English botanical prints (London 1834-1842) that you can cut, mat and frame and save on the cost of buying 20 individual prints. As these prints are over 180 years old we have painstakingly restored them to the best of our ability by removing water stains, fingerprint marks, foxing, mold spots and more.. You can also have fun creating your own as each print contains a black and white sketch on a corresponding page. Use the reprint as a guide if you want to re-create the original or do your own thing and colorize as you wish. We recommend printing the sketch pages onto the correct type of paper for the medium you are using such as watercolor paper, gel pen, colored pencil, etc. This also gives you the opportunity to retain the reprint on the reverse page to cut, mat and frame.
