My fellow physicists are waking up! After more than 70 years with the scientific community neglecting, or worse, ridiculing, the topic of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), Dr. Daniel Coumbe is to be commended for his scientific examination of a number of prominent and compelling UFO/UAP cases and his presentation of those cases in a careful, rigorous, exciting, and engaging book for scientists and laypeople alike. One cannot help but read this book and ponder the implications of these results and what will be learned when the scientific community as a whole decides to get to work and study this remarkable phenomenon. Dr. Coumbe's book is the momentous start of something remarkable that will significantly impact humanity.--Kevin H. Knuth, Editor-in-Chief of Entropy With NASA undertaking a study on UFOs and the US Congress holding hearings, this timely and insightful book looks at the phenomenon not through the credulous eyes of belief, but through the impartial lens of science. Focusing on the hard data, Coumbe's meticulous analysis identifies some intriguing possibilities that should form the basis for further scientific research.--Nick Pope, UK Ministry of Defence (Ret.) An important contribution to the large body of scientific research examining the UFO phenomenon. The quantitative approach used adds new insight in helping to identify patterns across credible cases and reports throughout the world and through time. --Michael P. Masters, Professor of Biological Anthropology, Montana Technical University

Using his background as a former research scientist at the Niels Bohr Institute, and having a PhD in theoretical particle physics, [Cuombe] explore[s] the world of ufology from a much needed scientific perspective.-- Magonia Review of Books My fellow physicists are waking up!
