Miriam Pittman has always loved escaping into a good book, ever since she stepped through the wardrobe with Lucy as a child. Her writing career began at the age of eight when she wrote a story about a girl who eats too many gumdrops. Her mom loved it. This was followed by stories about pioneers, kidnapped grandmothers, and aliens. Her mom loved those, too.
