Overview

"Amerika2030 is a Dystopian fictional account of what America would be when authoritarians take control of the White House and use artificial intelligence to subdue the citizenry. Amerika2030 is not a prediction; it is a precautionary conspiratorial theory of what could happen. In year 2030, a multi-national cartel of cyber authoritarians have used artificial intelligence to seize control of the American government. In this new system, every citizen is required to perform an eye scan before using a bank account, acquiring a driver's license, checking in to work, or purchasing goods and services. While the government maintains that the eyetruth system is 100% percent reliable, in Amerika 2030, two people, one a high-ranking government official and the other a college professor, discover that they have duplicate eyesignatures. The government declares that one of them must die. In the book, two people with identical biometric frequency signatures must decide whether to kill the other or join forces to escape the government's wrath. When all hopes are realizable, when man can produce enough for everybody, when war has become unnecessary because technical progress can give any country more wealth than can territorial conquest, when this globe is in the process of becoming as unified as a continent was four hundred years ago, at the very moment when man is on the verge of realizing his hope, he begins to lose it,"" Eric Fromm's ""Afterword"" to George Orwell's 1984"
