I would encourage very teen girl to read this devotional. The setup of the book makes it easy to read, and the journal pages challenge us to praise God and actively apply the lesson. Also, this book doesn't get old. The truths presented are timeless, and even after having finished reading it and filling up the journal pages, I've been able to go back through it and learn even more important lessons. It tactfully but directly presents God's truth in areas that most teen girls, including myself, struggle with--such as beauty, having a right attitude, doing God's will, and choosing friends. My entire life and my walk with God have been challenged. -Hannah R. I have a lot of health problems, some of which make it difficult for me to read and study the Bible. I found that reading a section of a devotional book that uses lots of scripture in the lessons is much easier for me to grasp. One of my favorite lessons was 'A Merry Heart'. Being sick all the time is not pleasant and can often affect my attitude during the day--which in turn affects the rest of my family. The lesson pointed out that I need to remember that my attitudes affects others and sometimes my own health. Now I am trying to remember what God has done for me and trying to be more grateful to Him. This way of thinking has made a huge difference in my life spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. -Bethany W. Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
