OverviewAll But One began in the early 1800's; in1865, Harry V. Brown concocted a savage plan that he thought would last unto the end of time. Fortunately, in 2017, Harry's nemesis, Donovan V. Bright discovered the unlawful place and the family that maintained Harry's deceit. Donovan uncovering the heinous family, catapulted him into becoming a modern-day abolitionist, he devised a way to permanently destroy the property and the perpetrators. The twist to this stirring fictitious tale is the similarity of a group of people that was held captive and Donovan with his comrades, who became contemporary abolitionist. The distinction is a visible iron gate and thick forest that kept the people locked in like prisoners hidden from the public; compared to Donovan and his group-hidden gates of personal cognitive difficulties. On the plantation, people suffered the unyielding evils of their master, his son, two poverty-stricken hired-hands, and the chief of police. In the world of freedom, the flawed abolitionist group struggled to conquer their own individual mangled lives, to free others from the degradation of their situation. Donovan and his friends forged ahead to steal humans into the arms of freedom in spite of death threats and several murders. All But One is about Power, illusion, and victory.
