She is the author of a number of highly successful picture books, including LITTLE BAT and BABY. Janine Dawson worked backstage in theatre while she trained as a cartoon animator. Working for Hanna-Barbera, she lived and travelled all over the world - the US, Canada, Taiwan, Vietnam and India. She now lives in Sydney with her daughter Rosie and their cats.
