She is the co-author of Heart of the Race (1985, 2018), Teaching Black Literature (1989), The Black Body in Europe (2007) and several articles and book chapters on Caribbean and Black British writers. Leith Dunn is Sociologist, Honorary Senior Research Fellow and former Senior Lecturer/Head of the Institute for Gender and Development Studies Mona Campus Unit at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica.
