He has also completed a summer research fellowship at the well-reputed Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (India). He is also a recipient of fast track proposals for Young Scientists as well as the prestigious Raman Fellowship sponsored by the Indian Government. Under the Raman fellowship, he worked as post-doctoral fellow with the Nobel Laureate Sir Harold Kroto at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Florida State University, Tallahassee, USA.
