Each nature landscape in this book is an original design by Kimberly Hawthorne. Her unique style results in beautiful images. These images are then converted into her own coloring book style; a blend of light grayscale and dark line texture detailing. For example: animals have dark line texture to help you create realistic-looking fur, hair, feathers etc. This style is great for beginners who want to learn more, as well as for advanced colorists who want a challenge. The paper type in this book works best with color pencils. Optionally, you can use other coloring mediums by placing a blank sheet of paper under the page you want to work on to prevent bleed-through onto the next page. You may also scan and print the pages onto the paper of your choice. Please do not sell or give away copied pages that you have not colored. Include in the back of the book are color test pages and a grayscale sample of each image (without dark line texture). Be sure to check out vol. 1 country scenes and vol. 2 waterfalls. Both have a variety of animals in country and nature scenes.
