Starting as a 1:1 therapist in home and school settings, she quickly realized her passion for creating a positive impact on others' lives. With further experience and education, Morgan began training parents and teachers on how to use ABA strategies to best support their individual needs and improve their students' quality of life. Her research on using visuals to support parent learning was recently presented at the internationally recognized ABAI conference. Anteriormente ha sido profesor de psicología en la Universidad de Manitoba (Canadá) e investigador postdoctoral en el Instituto de Salud Carlos III (España). Su investigación se centra en la evaluación de intervenciones basadas en el análisis aplicado de la conducta (ABA) con personas con y sin discapacidad. Virués-Ortega está interesado en la evaluación de resultados de tratamiento en análisis aplicado de conducta. Es autor de más de cien publicaciones especializadas. Su trabajo ha sido citado más de 4000 veces y ha sido resumido en las coberturas médicas de varios de los principales proveedores de seguros de salud. His research focuses on the evaluation of interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) for people with and without disabilities. He has an interest in transferring mainstream outcome research methods into ABA. He is author of over one hundred specialized publications. His work has been cited over four thousand times and has been summarized in the medical policies of several major health insurance providers.
