Author Information

"Tracie has been writing since elementary school. Her love of poetry was inspired to bloom by the works of early favorites, Langston Hughes, and Shel Silverstein. Finding a creative, emotional, and intellectual outlet in the magic of pen to paper, she embraced this journey to find a lifelong haven and boundless sounding board. Author Robin Thorpe began writing at the age of twelve by drafting personal poems for family and friends. Many years later she was awarded a diploma from The Longridge Writers Group upon completion of their course Writing for Publication. For several years, she created stories and skits for Childrens ministry, family members, teachers, and their students. As she matured she wrote magazine articles for Senior citizens adding a bit of wisdom and humor to the aging process. She is a mother of five and grandmother who now resides as an empty nester with her husband in Detroit, MI and is currently working on the completion of her first Novel entitled ""The other Hand."" Valerie D. Wade is an author who has written the novel Ivy Lee's Rue and the novella Leaving Jacksonville. She is a lifelong resident of Detroit, Michigan, having grown up in Highland Park, Michigan. Valerie is an alumna of Wayne State University, and currently works as a Research Administrator."
