Overview

This final volume covers the seventh, eighth and ninth stages of Addey's voyage from Orkney to Southend-on-Sea recording the same scenes as William Daniell, RA had back in the early nineteenth century. The artist William Daniell travelled round the coasts of Britain between 1813 and 1823 recording coastal features, David Addey Has retraced Daniell's footsteps and produced the same views in watercolour. Daniells' engravings are reproduced alongside Addey's with text and comment from both artists.
