Three of my children were also able to spot their names and needless to say that made it even more special and exciting. And if your child can't see their name, they can write their name inside with a permanent marker. The illustrations are brilliant, vibrant, and colourful. The book represents children from various backgrounds and races. I truly love the overall quality of the book too. By Letslearnmama, Blogger and Reviewer, 3rd Feb 2021. The approach of this book is absolutely fantastic, it makes it so memorable and stand out from the crowd in this category. The main purpose of this book is to expose the little ones to the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam). The repetition of salawat makes it easy for the little ones to learn it. For each letter of the alphabet, there are four names (2 boys and 2 girls) and a sunnah from the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallem). Some mentioned are practical daily habits such as saying bismillah before eating or greeting others with a smile. And some are traits and mannerisms that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged Muslims to practice such as forgiveness and honesty. I really love the range of diversity within this book through the names stated as well as the illustrations. My kids were excited to recognize familiar a few names of the people in their lives. I appreciated the new vocabulary which initiated a new discussion for us. My 1st grader has been reading this book for his little sister at bedtime the last few days, so that's a win for me! The large size of the book and the text makes this book an excellent choice for group readings (inshaAllah when we get back to them). One of a kind addition to any Muslim bookshelf. By Muslimkidsbooknook, Muslim Book Reviewer/ Blogger, 18th March 2021. This book has a fantastic premise using the alphabet as a guidance and introduction to positive traits and characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). Each letter includes four names (2 female and 2 male) followed by a sunnah of the Prophet (saw) and repeats over and over again just like the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). I love that these include examples that can be incorporated in to everyday life such as greeting someone with a salaam, saying bismillah before doing something and smiling at people as well as examples that can lead to conversations about being empathetic and mindful of other people such as being forgiving, giving to charity, being kind and helping others.
