Author Information

Kelli Martin was born in a small town, just north of Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1993, she moved to Texas for a third grade teaching position. She has worked in public education for twenty-three years. She has won numerous awards for her teaching, including being named Teacher of the Year in 2014, being selected as a statewide semifinalist in the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards in 2007, and being selected to Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Kelli currently resides in Sugar Land, Texas, with her husband, two children, two cats, and one dog.
