A Mole in One is an adorable story about a Mole who dares to be different for his love of golf. He isn't very good at it, but keeps trying, until he is chased by the groundskeeper and finds himself in a situation that makes him realize it's OK if he isn't great at the game, doing something you love is simply enough. I love this book as a tool to teach kids it's perfectly fine to be different and you don't have to be the best at something in order to enjoy it. The story is well written, and the illustrations are so fun. Overall, it's a great read. -Sarah Rizk This story was so cute, and I simply loved the illustrations that went along with it! The story was great and had you wanting to flip the page at every turn wondering if Fergus, the mole, would ever golf himself. He finds himself instead of being the golfer, being the golfing instructor! It was so cute and well worth the readI - Kelsey A Mole in One by Therese Lynch is a unique and imaginative tale that takes place on, you guessed it, the golf course. The main hitter, Fergus, is a mole with an unusual passion for golf. His adventures, paired with lively illustrations, may actually inspire me to go hit some balls! -Happy Kids Love Books Reviews
