Her journey to finding her forever family in 1998, after going through seven families, including her birth family, shaped her deeply. Growing up as a pastor's daughter fostered a strong faith that has been her cornerstone through life's challenges. An avid journalist who had only written a few poems, Lillie embraced poetry after her December 2023 diagnosis of Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) as a means to share her experiences and connect with others. When not writing or reading - she aims to read at least two books a week - she enjoys spending quality time with her family and cavapoo, Lucy, and indulges in various hobbies at home.
