Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationCarlos Lopes Fortes was born in the Island of Sal, city of Santa Maria, Cabo Verde Islands and worked as a Journalist for the National Radio and Television, until the end of 1988, when he immigrated to USA. After an inicial factory work for three years, Carlos begin a new and inspiring carreer in 1992 as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, at the Law Offices of Ralph A. Donabed, in Boston, Massachussetts, where he worked through the end of 1997. At the begining of 1998 he start a new career as a Manager and Notary Public of a small company that later extended to become an export/import company. During this time he acummulated the day job with night studying. In 2001 he got a bachelors in Counseling (Psychology), for the very next year in 2002, completing his training in Civil Structural Engineering. Three years later, in 2005, he acquired an Advanced Certificate in Project Management while preparing to defend his Master's thesis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, in 2006.
