Deb Berman is a person who creates and make things happen. Even as a young girl, she constructed home-made greeting cards for special occasions to the delight of her family and friends. As a teenager, she performed in summer stock creating memorable stage roles, and began writing her own songs. Her dream was to be an entertainer/singer and although she performed all throughout her life, she earned her living behind the scenes in the music industry which lasted over 30 years. She started as a receptionist at Warner Brothers leading to VP of Sony Music in NYC where she created marketing plans for their recording artists. In 2008, she started to write and perform her own nightclub acts garnering positive reviews where she also won the prestigious NY Bistro Award for best debut show. She continues to perform whenever possible. Currently, Deb is a Real Estate agent in Florida who helps many buyers create dreams of owning their own homes, while assisting sellers to upscale or downsize as their circumstances direct. Her most important creation is, and always will be, her son, Jared, now 30, who has successfully created a rewarding personal/professional life of his own. What parent could ask for more? 26-years ago, when her son was four-year-old son, he asked where was I before I came here? This question inspired the beginning of a creative, somewhat true, and embellished tale that would never be forgotten. In 2019, these memories came flooding back, and that's when Deb decided to document this cherished time by writing a story about the 40-week development of a baby - - And that's how 9 Months in the Play Womb (The Inside Story) came to be!
