Overview

How are different number bases related to prime numbers? How can they be useful in recognizing higher percentages of composites? Or calculate prime numbers? Using number templates to reduce brute force divisions when proving numbers to be prime or composite. Storing primes and composites efficiently in computer files. Many computer programs and algorithms are provided for tasks such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and taking square roots of titanic and larger numbers. Primorial number bases are key to a formula for calculating prime numbers. Split primorials can also produce prime numbers predictably. Precisely locating all groups of consecutive composite numbers, including groups of millions of such numbers in the titanic and mega ranges of numbers. Counting all the prime and composite numbers up to infinity. And finally, converting Eratosthenes Sieve to a simple formula (Lambert Prime Number Formula) in order to calculate and identify titanic and mega primes directly. Carl L. Lambert holds an A.A. degree from the University of the State of New York (Excelsior College), Albany, NY, and a B.S. degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, MA, in computer science, Summa Cum Laude. He has many other credits from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, in mathematics, electrical engineering, and physics, in addition to credits in chemistry from MCLA. He holds two U.S. patents and several dozen copyrights for other works. He lives in Savoy, MA, with his wife, Joan.
