He earned his Ph.D. from The Open University, UK. He is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow. His main research interests include radio resource management, 5G and beyond wireless networks, and molecular communications for nano-networks. He is the recipient of the best paper award at the Wireless Personal Multimedia Conference (WPMC) in 2013. He is currently serving on the editorial board of Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications. Dr. Muhammad Khandaker is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Curtin University, Australia, in 2013.
