Reviews

"""Tom Rademacher is not asking you to give up your tech. What he does is make a convincing case for carving out intentional time for the analog, for the experiences we can't get from our devices--real books and paper, face-to-face activities, paint and cardboard, physical movement. As we spend more and more time behind screens, the strategies in this refreshing book are exactly what we need to nurture what's human in all of us."" --Jennifer Gonzalez, Cult of Pedagogy ""You've got to love a book focused on use-right-away lessons that help children make, question, do, think, and talk. With ideas for adapting each lesson to grades PK-2, 3-5, and 6-12, any teacher can find inspiration to supplement whatever core curriculum they might be using."" --Jennifer Serravallo, educational consultant, speaker, and New York Times best-selling author of The Reading Strategies Book 2.0"
