The property was 26 miles from a town, 12 miles from any electric line, marginal roads in the summer, snow in the winter, no phone service. The truth of what's it is really like to live off-grid? I wrote this at the request from the many I have helped to develop inexpensive solar systems, to complete solar systems for off-grid living.
